Vote in the June 16 Runoff: Here’s How
The DeKalb County Board of Education controls the superintendent, the budget, and curriculum priorities. This seat is open. Your vote fills it.
Why is there a runoff?
Tracy finished first in the May 19 primary among District 4 candidates. But under Georgia law, a candidate must receive a majority (more than 50%) to win outright. Because no candidate reached that threshold, the top two finishers advance to a runoff on June 16, 2026. Runoff elections typically have far lower turnout than primaries, which means your vote counts even more on June 16.
Vote by Mail
The last day to request an absentee ballot for the runoff is June 5, 2026.
Vote Early
Early voting runs Saturday, June 6 through Friday, June 12, 2026. Check the DeKalb County Board of Elections for early voting locations and hours.
Vote on Election Day
Polls are open from 7AM to 7PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Look up your assigned polling location for the runoff via Georgia’s My Voter Page.
SAGAMORE VOTERS: Your precinct has been temporarily relocated for the May 19 primary and June 16 runoff. You will vote at OUTLET COMMUNITY CHURCH AT BRIARCLIFF, 3039 BRIARCLIFF ROAD, ATLANTA, GA 30329. The site returns to its original location for the November general election.
